The service is excellent, and the staff maintains genuine Hawaiian
Aloha spirit, with a German flair. Bavarian Master chef Hans-Peter
serves up a wide variety of dishes...umpha. For lunch, you might
try the wienerschnitzel for an authentic and delicious German experience.
How does a rack of lamb sound. If you get there early, you can enjoy
a cocktail by the fireplace before dinner. Walkins welcome, though
reservations are recommended.

Located in an historic 1926 building that once
served as the general store for the Big Island plantation town of
Hawi. Entrees include barbecued pork baby-back ribs, a surf ‘n’
turf dish of filet and black tiger shrimp, and Kohala Cordon Bleu,
macadamia nut-crusted chicken breast wrapped around ham and Swiss
cheese and topped with a spicy lilikoi sauce. Live music on weekends.
